Visualization of Likert Data

Here is an attempt to design a creative and useful static visualization of responses on a Likert questionnaire. The questions evaluated individual's opinion on an interactive work over time. The topics ranged from utility, aesthetics to Distraction. The design provides insight into these fields by grouping the themes of the answers into chunks. Then the chunks provide views of both group responses (to show consensus and trends) and individual answers.

Plotting America, is a program that charts and sorts industry information such as location, growth, industry type, sales, and employee count. The system is designed to be approachable and to provide quick access of information about the changes that occur in over time. A user may select a particular industry (or industries) that they wish to monitor. The program plots the industry locations on the map. The color matches the industry and size of the dots plotted match the popularity in that area.
